Georgia has the 11th-largest state economy in the US, with a GDP of approximately $780 billion. Atlanta serves as the economic hub of the entire southeastern US, functioning as the region's financial center, transportation hub, and corporate headquarters city.

Logistics and Transportation are Georgia's most critical infrastructure assets. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic — over 100 million passengers annually. The Port of Savannah is the fastest-growing and third-busiest container port in the US, handling over $100 billion in trade annually. Healthcare — Emory University Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta are major regional healthcare institutions. The CDC is headquartered in Atlanta.
